Happy Friday everyone!

We hope you have all had an amazing half term break :)

This week in the Compass Centre we have been getting back into individual routined sessions and enjoying various activities involved in active mathematics, literacy and functional work. Some of our  learners have become engaged in messy play and exploring different textures—which has been positive as part of interactive learning and sensory regulation. 

In addition, we have all been enjoying the glorious weather over the past week! Some of our learners have had the opportunity to  take part in various outdoor walks (as part of their timetabled routine). The walks our pupils participate in helps  them better engage in the environment, increase coordination, body awareness and acts as a calming technique.
