This week in Sixth Form we have been working really hard. The Bistro group have been celebrating their successes of a year of hard work by taking a trip to Ma Bakers where they were able to spend their earnings by having a drink and a cake, made for them for a change!

Some of our students enjoyed taking part in AFC Fylde and Blackpool Football Club where we testing our ball skills, we are amazed at how far all the students have come this year and how confident they have all become in sporting activities, applying previous PE experience to follow the direction of new instructors.

Meal prep saw us continuing with our Mexican theme where we made quesadilla’s, we knew all the students enjoyed these as there wasn’t a scrap of food left on their plates at the end!

Personal Care sessions are now focussing upon healthy lifestyles and we have been taking part in a health walk around the community working on positive mental health strategies following the Five Ways to Wellbeing (NHS) and noticing the tastes and flavours of our food when making yummy fruit salads.

Our pre-formal learners have been making cocktails whilst taking a trip to Greece for our Mamma Mia sensory story and have further developed their skills by making Mosaic pots which were super creative!

Have a fabulous weekend
