This week in Pine Tree it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! We have been decorating the class and making some Christmas decorations. We have also been looking at magazines and choosing toys to put on our Christmas list for Father Christmas. There has been lots of cutting, gluing, sticking and tonnes of glitter! Pine Tree have also been busy making clay Christmas decorations to take home.

Our Literacy story this week has been Christmas themed with the Grinch. Everyone has loved the Grinch story and likes to interact with the switches, costumes, hats, sensory snow and smelling the Roast Beast! It has been a fantastic week in Pine Tree and we have all got into the Christmas spirit. There has also been a little cheeky visitor this week in Pine Tree causing lots of mischief: the Elf on the Shelf! This week he has been eating chocolates and throwing the wrappers and he has also been climbing our Christmas tree and knocking our decorations off! He’s such a cheeky Elf.

We hope you all have a great weekend and we look forward to hearing all about your weekend news on Monday morning.
