What a busy week the remainder of the Sixth Form had whilst some were on the residential! Tuesday saw the students go to a very sunny Lytham Hall as part of Painting and Decorating and Horticulture. Once there, the students went to look at the bee houses and worked in teams to complete a nature hunt; looking for all sorts of things including soft bark and different footprints! The students worked really well together in their teams and were very observant of what was around them, most teams got at least 16 out of the 24 items they were looking out for!!

On Wednesday there was a competitive streak again as two teams were tasked to make scones for their pudding as part of Meal Prep, it was a close call between the gluten and gluten free and all of them were eaten so it was a draw! The students made the most of the good weather and walked down to the Kingfisher pub, practicing their travel training and ordering lunch in a public place. It was a slower walk back with some very full stomachs!

Hope you all have a lovely restful half term ready for the final school term of the year!
