This week the classroom has become much fuller with the return of many of our friends that we have missed. It has been great to see everyone’s smiling faces ready to embrace the classroom learning once more.

This week our blog focus is on History which we have been learning all about the Anglo-Saxons. We have taken on the role of Archaeologists both in the classroom and via our remote learning, digging and brushing away soil and sand to discover Anglo Saxon artefacts. We have been sequencing events from the past and putting them in chronological order, whilst also discussing the difference between the different artefacts and our more modern versions.

We have been getting ready and learning about Mothers Day. Pine Tree class have been fantastic at joining in a group discussion about what their mothers, carers, grandparents, aunties, and any of our care givers do for us and why we give thanks. We have got crafty and created our own range of lovely gifts to be able to give as thanks this Sunday.

Have a lovely weekend and see you all next week for more exciting learning opportunities 🙂
