With this lovely sunny weather we’ve been out and about this week. We’ve enjoyed visiting Blackpool and the Fylde College in catering, learning to follow instructions from new people to create some delicious biscuits topped with melted chocolate. Wearing protective aprons, hair nets and hats we felt like professional chefs – bring on the bake off tent! After all of the baking it was time to wash and dry up on our teams.
Bikeability was enjoyed by all. We learned about road safety including how to hold out our hand to indicate when turning a corner. We ensured that we remained safe by wearing our helmets and following instructions from our friends acting as traffic lights to stop at the red light and go when the ‘road’ was clear.
A special thanks to everyone for the great turn out at our Sixth Form Social on Thursday night. Everyone had a great time and it was fantastic to see everyone’s bowling skills with the chance to get together outside of the classroom. To top the night off we sang Happy Birthday to Antonia and ate the birthday cake that Antonia’s parents kindly brought along.
