This week in Food and Technology we have been looking at Eggs. We all watched a short video about where an egg comes from and also looked at the structure of the egg. Craig set up a little café where everyone got to try different types of foods which contain eggs such as-

  • Meringue
  • Scotch Egg
  • Pancakes
  • Cake
  • Egg fried rice

Everyone had a little taste and used a table to sort which of the foods they liked and didn’t like.  After this we did big group session on sequencing egg recipes and then went on to following the recipes.  We made scrambled egg, fried eggs and boiled eggs. It was a great food technology session and we all enjoyed tasting the different egg recipes. Yummy!
