This week in Maple Tree Class we have had a super fantastic week with lots of fun experiments in Science.

We have been looking at materials and changing their states from liquid to solid, and whether these were reversible changes or irreversible changes. We did this is true Maple class style and obviously experimented with food. We made cakes and pancakes for pancake day. Then, for the toppings we melted chocolate and found when we put this on the frozen ice cream it changed back to a solid. We also looked at what components we could add to try and change the state of a material, such as heat to cook an egg after cracking it open.

We also had world book day this week and thank you so much to everyone who took part in class by coming in their pyjamas or their favourite book character. We had a lovely morning sharing what books the children had brought in with them and their favourite bedtime teddies. In the afternoon we all got together in the hall and had a lovely time sat out on the blankets reading different books and listening to CBeebies bedtime stories.

What a fabulous week! Have a lovely weekend.
