We have spent a busy week learning all about The Easter Story and Easter traditions.

We met the school mascot as he came around the classes. We really enjoyed trying to work out who was hiding inside!

We really enjoyed trying different Easter foods, including hot cross buns, bread and of course, chocolate!!

After reading the Easter story and learning about The Last Super, we had a go at making and sharing our own bread.

We really enjoyed kneading the dough of our bread. It was really sticky!

We had to put oil on the tray so that the bread didn’t stick.

We have spent time retelling The Easter Story this week. We were very good at talking about Jesus and what happened to him at Easter time.

On Thursday morning we had music exploration with Anna. We really enjoyed being able to try the guitars, keyboards and different percussion instruments. We even had a go at being a band!

On Thursday afternoon we had a go at making Easter nests using rice crispies and chocolate! We loved mixing and especially tasting!

As you can see we have had a very busy week and in fact half term. The children are all tired and as ready for the break as we are!

Have a wonderful Easter holidays. We look forward to seeing all the children again on Tuesday 23rd April.
