It’s been the Tinsel Trolley dash at Pear Tree school this week.  A huge thank you to all the gifts sent in to help out, and special thanks to the person that sent in the barbecue!  This won Oak Tree Class the “most random present” award that netted us a giant turtle we decided to call Tobius.  We’re not really sure where we are going to keep him, but the pupils love him!

The Oak Tree Class elf Noel is choosing different places to hide in class each day.  Make sure you ask where he was hiding and what he has been getting up to in the run up to Christmas.

We have been learning about how Christmas is celebrated all around the world.  The sensory group have been reading a version of A Christmas Carol and some pupils have been reading ‘Twas The Night Before Christmas.

We decorated class on Monday and put our Christmas tree up.  I’m sure you’ll agree that it looks fantastic.

Christmas lunch on Wednesday also went down well with pupils and staff alike.  All the plates were cleared so a big thank you for Michaela for putting on such a delicious spread.
