Its our last week of school for 2020, and what a week we have had. This week in Pine Tree class we have been getting well into the festive spirit and enjoying this magical time of year with our friends. We have been getting all festive and creative making many Christmas themed crafts within our D.T lessons. We have made and decorated salt dough decorations and clay 3D decorations, developing our skills with mouldable materials. We have made baubles to hang on our trees at home and had so much fun making cards, wreaths and many more crafts.

This week we have had the opportunity to get a sneak peak of the school nativity that will be going live to you all very shortly. As well as watching our own nativity we have had the opportunity to watch Pantomimes performed by others especially designed to bring the magic of Christmas to our classroom.

This week we have also taken part in a school music festival celebrating the end of our literacy topic and inspirational people we have been learning about this term. We still have a few more activities lined up for the week but as a class we are extremely looking forward to the school sing a long to help bring the festivities to a close and ready for us to begin bringing the 2020 school experience to a close.

2020 has been a year to remember for many different and new reasons, we are so very proud of our Pine Tree students and their determination and resilience this year in the face of ever changing situations. Well Done Pine Tree you should be proud.

From all of us in Pine Tree we would like to take this time to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, take it easy enjoy the Christmas break and stay safe, and we look forward to seeing you all in 2021.
