Oak Tree Class started the Week with Literacy and Numeracy sessions on Monday morning. In the afternoon we had a lovely time sharing our work for open afternoon. In Oak Tree Class some students enjoyed a more Music session in the sensory room while others made soup for staff.
On Tuesday Oak Tree Class went to Sir Tom Finney for Music sharing and we did the drumming with Red Marsh School. And we had McDonald’s for Lunch. Some students did Literacy and others did rehearsal for Grease.
On Wednesday half of Oak Tree Class went to Adam’s Ark to help out with the animals. The rest of Class learnt some facts about guinea pigs.
We did internet safety activities in the hall on Wednesday afternoon for the exciting end to our curriculum theme
On Thursday morning we learnt about materials in science and talked about solids, liquids and gases. We did a fair test to find the material that will melt ice the fastest. We found out that the salt will melt the ice the fastest.
In Computing we learnt about internet safety day and some students did typing practice.
In Music we have been playing drums shakers and symbols and we have been listening to Happy by Pharrell Williams and Dance Monkey by Tones and I.
