Welcome back to the summer term everyone.  Finger’s crossed that this weather is here to stay for the whole weekend!

It has been Inspiration Day for our curriculum theme of Through the Window today.  This has meant a week of fun activities linked to rainbows and colours.

We have made rainbow collages, baked and decorated shortbread biscuits, made wax scratch pictures and painted pebbles.

As well as this, we have started learning about pantomimes in literacy reading a story all about a trip to the theatre.  We were naming and matching coins when learning about money in numeracy.  We started to look at various strong emotions and think about reasons why we would experience them.  And we read a story about how Siddartha Gautama became the Buddha in RE.

All in all, it has been an excellent first week back, with lots of hard work from all pupils.

Have a great weekend and stay safe everyone!
