This week Pine Tree class have been engaging well in their Phonics learning, both within the classroom and during our remote learning. Once again Pine Tree class students and parents have gone above and beyond in joining in with our remote learning lessons. The students in the classroom and those at home have gone head to head this week in a race to find an item around the classroom or our homes that begin with the letter of an object pulled out of our box. Everyone managed this extremely well finding all different items beginning with many different letters.
Everyone thoroughly enjoys Phonics lessons and enjoy taking part whether that be remotely or classroom based. In addition to Phonics we have started our new Numeracy topic, ‘length, weight and height’, whilst also finding out our topic for Art lessons this half term, where we are beginning to look at the work of artist, Joan Miro.
This is such a happy lesson. Thank you Kirsty for your never ending enthusiasm.
Daisy is quite difficult to motivate at times however, she enjoys looking for an item relating to the letter.
Thank you. X
Lots of good work going on at home and at school well done
