Last week Pine Tree class celebrated Children’s Mental Health Week. As a class we looked at how to express ourselves and our feelings. We explored what type of activities we can do that will allow us to express ourselves. A lot of Pine Tree class enjoy expressing themselves through dancing, acting and arts and crafts with many students enjoying such activities out and about in the community with friends at many different clubs and groups.

This week we have been very lucky and we have been focused on our Religious Education subject which has been taught by our third year teaching student Arran (we have all loved your classes). This half term has been very different however due to the capabilities of technology we have been able to enjoy our classes this term as a full class with remote learning and class based learning, we have enjoyed learning about Joan Miro in art and making our own versions of his art work. We have explored the magical world of Alice in Wonderland in Literacy and learnt about two different topics in Numeracy, Money and weight, length and height (we particularly enjoyed measuring ourselves with the toilet paper).

This half term everyone has made excellent progress and worked really hard via remote learning and class based learning, you are all superstars. We have particularly enjoyed sharing with each other our work via Zoom well done.

We hope you have a lovely half term and enjoy some well earned time to catch up on the important things like playing and exploring. We will see you all soon.

Lots of Love

Pine Tree Class.
