This week, in History, we have been learning about the Romans.  We found out about Roman pottery and looked at different pictures to see examples of what they looked like.  We then put what we had learnt into practice by recreating an item of Roman pottery out of salt dough.  After it had dried we were able to paint it.

Some students are working in the community room and they have taken part in this activity by using some yellow dough.  They explored it independently in different ways and also did this under the UV lighting to see it glow.

We have enjoyed this part of our learning this week.

Have a good weekend
