This week we have had a visit from PCSO Fairclough who educated us about how to stay safe online and in the community.  This involved safer stranger work, E-Safety discussions and how to say “No!” to peer pressure.  He also talked to us about his role within the police and students then got to explore the range of equipment that is carried by police officers on a daily basis.  Some chose to experience being ‘cuffed’ though found out it wasn’t as fun as they thought it was going to be!

Blackpool F.C. stadium tour was fantastic. We started in the directors box learning about the trophies won over the years. We then learnt about all of the roles in the club from the cleaners to the kit team and the owners, managers and chefs that all work to make the club successful. We learnt that by working together we can be successful too! The full class then walked through the tunnel and into the dugouts.

Everyone loved Frankie and Bennies afterwards too and behaved impeccably. The chocolate brownies were a big hit!
