Welcome back! We hope you had a lovely Easter break and are ready for the busy Summer Term ahead. We started with some garden games in sport and leisure this week learning the basics of croquet with an all in a row challenge too!

On Friday we donned our lab coats and put on our investigative heads for a Science morning, where the whole school were set the challenge of who could throw their paper airplane the furthest. In true Sixth Form style the competitive nature came out and we were joint winners with the Compass Center….. Well done everyone who took part!

The rest of the time students were experimenting using magnets, trialing different items to make a working circuit and exploring the different types of forces. It was a very successful morning which all the students learnt from and worked hard at practicing their investigation skills.
