In Geography this week we have been looking at the different types of weather, for example sunny, raining or snowing.

On Monday the class went on a walk into Kirkham to have a look at the weather on that day. Before we left for the walk, as a class we spoke about what clothes we might need to wear in different types of weather, some of the examples the children gave were, if it was raining we would need an umbrella, if it was cold we would need a coat and if it was sunny we would need a sun hat. Then we spoke about what we needed to wear for our walk, as it wasn’t raining and quite warm the children all decided that they didn’t need to wear a coat.

Here is some pictures of the children doing their Geography activities before the walk;

Hope you all have a lovely weekend in the sunshine, remember your sun hats! :)x
