This week in Pine Tree class we have been finishing off the term with a bang. We have been getting creative in our DT lessons whilst learning about the importance of recycling, reclaimed materials and mechanisms. With our recycled cardboard, plastic and paper, we have used our creative flair to inspire the designs for making car models.
Whilst this week is drawing to a close and the school holidays are getting closer we have not stopped. As a class we have made and entered our own silhouettes in to the Kirkham Heritage Walk, inspired by the history of Kirkham. From our music lessons each week with Anna, we have shared our learning with the rest of the school via Zoom. We have partaken in a school talent show once again via Zoom showcasing our electric dancing skills, synchronised chair moves, Makaton signing, hula hooping, and singing to name but a few of what we shared.
Towards the end of the week we have joined in with the full schools ‘Exciting End’ to conclude our creative curriculum theme for this half term, ‘This Is Me’ and even squeezed in time to have our very own Easter egg hunt around the playground and in class.
Have a fantastic Easter break everyone,
Lots of Love Pine Tree xx
