Welcome back everyone, we hope you all had a wonderful half term break! This week we have continued our Halloween topic and have enjoyed exploring the continuous provision linked to this. The weather has been lovely and we all like to get outdoors as often as we can. This week we have been dressing up, making spooky potions in the sand, water play and learning to mark make too! We always have so much fun outdoors and this is where a lot of our learning takes place. As it is starting to get slightly colder please could we ask that you send in some gloves and hats for your child please!

Pumpkin carving and exploration went down well, with children expressing their preferences and likes and dislikes to the smells and textures! Some children were more keen than others!! The role play area has been hugely popular with children enjoying being in the ‘haunted house’ and developing their imagination skills making peculiar things for dinner – potions containing food and bugs, yummy!!

Next week we begin our new topic of dinosaurs for 4 weeks which we are really looking forward to and then for the last 3 weeks we will be celebrating and learning all about Christmas!! This is our longest term but one of the most exciting with so many lovely events happening as we prepare for Christmas!!

Have a great weekend everyone!
