We hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and New Year!
We welcome all the pupils back after the Christmas break, ready to learn!
We have another busy half term ahead of us in the Compass Centre with lots of different offsite activities to take part in including: swimming, climbing, cycling, horse riding, walking and going to Preston City trampoline club. As well as the offsite activities we have also got cooking, independent living skills and sensory activities taking place.
Over the past half term in the cooking session, we have been learning how to make Chocolate Cupcakes. Jack, Saskia, Daniel and Demi-Leigh has been building up their knowledge of following recipes and using the equipment by making the cupcakes alongside their supporting adults. However, this week the adults have taken a step back in order for the group to increase their independence, the outcome was a huge success! We look forward to keeping you up to date with what is happening in the Compass Centre over the next half term with our new blogger – Jack!
Have a wonderful week!
