We’ve had a fun week this week, especially celebrating World Book Day on Thursday. Some children dressed up as a character, and some of our lovely children brought in their favourite book to share with their friends.
As a class we read some of our best-loved stories and enjoyed them together. One of the stories we enjoyed was ‘The Tiger Who Came to Tea’. Lindsey turned the book into a sensory story, including real life characters, sandwiches and cakes, and as a class we enjoyed our own little tea party.
Also on Thursday we took part in a school Music session, Gong Bathing. Gong bathing is an ancient tool used to help the body to deeply relax. The sound and vibrational energy of gongs were played whilst the children either led down, sat or explored the environment. Even though it was a first for many of our Seedlings, they all loved it and had a truly positive, relaxing experience.
