Hi everyone,

It's been a busy week in Oak Tree Class with lots of hard work from all pupils.

We celebrated World Book Day by dressing up as our favourite characters from our favourite stories and I'm sure you'll agree all the pupils look amazing!

We read a new story called Can I Build Another Me? by Shinsuke Yoshitake.  It follows a child's hilarious, wildly inventive train of thought as he decides to make a clone of himself - and starts to ponder what makes him HIM. Is it the scar on his knee or his sticky palms? Is it his love of acorns or the way he winks?  We then thought about what made us, us by filling in an imformation sheet about what we look like, what things we like doing and what things we don't like doing.

We made flatbreads in DT by mixing flour, yoghurt and oil, before Chris cooked them.  We all thought they tasted yummy and we can't wait for the next recipe we can bake.
