Seedlings: The Gingerbread Man

This weeks theme has been “The Gingerbread Man”. Our classroom provision has consisted of tuff trays with animal small world, play dough and gingerbread cutters and a sensory story. The children have really enjoyed making and decorating their own gingerbread men this week. They particularly enjoyed getting to eat these for snack time.

We got to show upper school all the music we have been learning this term at music sharing. The children did particularly well with their singing and drumming to our song Summertime.

Our Attention Autism has also been linked to “The Gingerbread Man”. The children have been watching as Emily drew a gingerbread man out of glue and sprinkling gold glitter over the paper to reveal a gingerbread man.
