Oak Tree Class: A fun filled week!
Date: 7th Mar 2025 @ 3:30pm
Happy Friday everyone!
We have had an extremely exciting week in Oak Tree this week!
On Monday, it was lovely to welcome some of our parents into our classroom. We read our class story of "Jack and the Beanstalk" and made our very own beanstalk, using our handprints as the giant's castle, and glitter, paint and green tissue paper! They all turned out amazing and I know the children loved it just as much as their parents!
On Tuesday we celebrated Pancake Day, and made our own pancakes from scratch. We enjoyed watching Leah flip the pancakes and even weighed out and measured the ingredients ourselves. We enjoyed lemon and sugar or hazelnut spread on our pancakes, or even both! Our students enjoyed trying the lemon juice and the chocolate spread before they put it on their pancake.
On Thursday we celebrated World Book Day! Everyone's costumes looked incredible, and we enjoyed a wide range of activities, including a quiz, watching Peter Pan, and designing the hat we would wear if we went to the party in the book "You must bring a hat".
The children have worked really hard in all lessons so we hope they enjoy a well deserved break and you all have a lovely weekend! See you on Monday!
Love, Oak Tree Class.
