Holiday Club
THE LATEST BOOKING FORM IS AVAILABLE BELOW
Pear Tree Holiday Club is a completely separate entity to Pear Tree School and governed by it's own Voluntary Management Committee.
However, it does benefit by renting school premises and is staffed almost exclusively by staff from Pear Tree School.
It offers the highest quality of care and provision for children aged between 5 (school year 1 only) and 16 years during the school holidays. The club received a top rating in it's last Ofsted inspection (October 2022) and the previous inspection in 2016.
The Club is quite unique in that it provides fully inclusive childcare in school holidays for children with severe learning difficulties/SEN/complex medical needs (where it feels it can meet need) as well as mainstream children from the local community.
The Club plans and organises a variety of activities, dependent upon age group. In addition to continuous supervision, children will access focused, adult directed activities, a swim session in our pool (generally available but not always), have access to a range of games (including IPADS and XBox) and are encouraged to utilsie a well resourced outside play area.
It also arranges one off activities such as Cooking/Baking, Mad Science, Wrigly Roadshow and Group Movie Time.
For children without special educational needs, the cost for a full day is £30.00 or £15.00 for a half day. For children with special educational needs the cost is £13.50 per hour unless registered and funded by Break Time. A 25% non refundable deposit is payable immediately on booking with the remainder of the payment due 2 weeks before the Club opens. Non-payment will result in losing the spaces. Booking will only be confirmed on receipt of the deposit.
