Bay Tree Class: Autumn Days

Date: 3rd Oct 2024 @ 4:06pm

This week in Bay Tree Class we have carried on learning all about ‘The Enormous Turnip’ as it links to our theme of ‘Autumn’. Our classroom provision has consisted of a role play small world, playdough and exploring lots of different fruit and vegetables such as an aubergine, cabbage, turnip and potatoes.

The children have enjoyed exploring on ‘Help kidz learn’, particularly the five poorly dinosaurs.

We have been lucky with some drier weather so our outside provision has consisted of lots of small world play, such as the cars, trucks and a dolls house, the bikes and scooters, books and dollies with pushchairs.

In this weeks Attention Autism we have watched as Emily made our enormous turnip grow as the bubbles got ‘bigger and bigger’ as we ‘pulled and heaved’. Next, the children took turns in blowing their own bubbles and we even completed a Stage 4 of decorating our own biscuits!

Have a lovely weekend Bay Tree!
