Oak Tree Class: Chinese New Year

What a lovely week we have had in Oak Tree class.

We have continued to develop our understanding of stop motion by using the ‘Stop Motion Studio’ app to take pictures of different objects and characters. We have also been exploring fractions in Numeracy and our ‘Peter Pan’ story in Literacy.

We had an exciting opportunity this week to be able to engage with activities relating to Chinese New Year. Paula came into school to deliver a Chinese themed PE lesson with dancing, dressing up, exploring rice and noodles as well as celebrating the year of the snake. We all had a fantastic time and had lots and lots of fun!
