Compass Centre blog of the week: Communication and engagement

Happy Wednesday everyone, 

We hope you are all having a fabulous week so far!

This week in the Compass Centre, each of our learners have been positively enagaging in grouped and teamwork related activities outside, as part of their Comando Ceris' sessions. Such activities include completing a circuit course with equipment such as trampettes, weaving in and out of the cones, bouncing on the physio balls, hopping over the hurdles, as well as colour and number recognition and matching, and learning about the Humpty Dumpty nursery rhyme and working together to build a wall for him to sit on. Everyone has worked extremely well together to complete each task and have worked on their sharing and communication skills. Well done all!

In addition, it has been noticeable that some of our learners have become increasingly confident in their weekly swimming sessions. Some of our learners have enjoyed challenging themselves to swim under the water, to reach for the weighted shark and even swim under the hoop. It is amazing to see their independence and progress flourishing. We are super proud :)
