Compass Centre blog of the week: People who help us

Welcome back everyone, we hope you all had a lovely Easter break 😊

This week in the Compass Centre, we have been settling back into our routine sessions including active maths and literacy, aerobics, sensory circuits, bounce and attention autism.

As one of our topics this term, we are focusing on identifying people who help us, whether that be our friends, or people who help the community such as police officers, nurses, doctors or firefighters. In order to develop our understanding of this topic further, in nurture group, we had the opportunity to participate in a range of team work and independent activities including bocha, head basketball, cup stacking, tower making and stepping stones. Everyone had lots of fun developing their communication, social and choice making skills.
