Happy Wednesday everyone! We hope you are having an amazing week.

This week in the Compass Centre we have been continuing our term topic, diversity. During Attention Autism we have been looking at an Islamic story for the celebration of Isra’ and Mi’raj: the night journey. We have focussed on how the prophet travelled through the heavens, exploring stars and toys that go up in the sky.

In addition, during our sensory story this week, we have engaged in different sensory experiences linking to the story of Zog. The story of Zog follows his attempts at learning how to fly, breathe fire and roar. We discovered that sometimes it takes longer to learn a different skill and that there are lots of people to help us along the way.
