Hello again everyone and welcome to the Elm Tree Class blog.

We have had a really busy week and everybody has been working hard in all lessons.

We are learning about Spain in geography and this week we have started to learn different words for weather.  We learned to say it is hot, it is cold, it is raining and it is sunny, so hopefully we can make a weather for different parts of Spain.

In science we started learning about the names of the different planets in the solar system by reading a story about a trip in a rocket ship.  We loved pretending that we were astronauts and putting on our helmets, sapce suits and space boots before pretending to walk on the moon.

We are leaning about Information Technology in computing and we have been practising our communication, typing and mouse skills.  Some pupils have been choosing their favourite HelpKidzLearn number songs and using a switch to play it, and some pupils have been searching the internet for photographs of their favourite food, book and TV show before copying and pasting them.  We found the copying and pasting tricky, so we are going to practise this more.
