Welcome back Elm Tree!

Hi everybody,

Welcome back to the Elm Tree Class blog.  We will be keeping you up to date with information about what we have been doing in class each week.

This week we have been reading a story called 'What Makes me a Me?' in Literacy.  This is linked to our creative curriculum theme ‘All About Me’.  The boy in the story compares different animals, plants and objects to himself and finds the similarities and differences.  He finds out that whilst there are similarities, he is different and that is what makes him!

We have been taking part in communication and relationship building activities in the afternoons.  On Thursday we were playing turn taking games.  Dominoes and Crocodile Dentist were the favourite.

On Friday we talked about what picture we would like to paint.  We worked in pairs to collect the resources from the art cupboard and then painted our pictures.
