Elm Tree Class Blog 15/12/23

Hi everybody,

This week in Elm Tree has been very busy.  We loved Christmas dinner day as all the staff in the kitchen put on a fantastic spread, it was tricky finding motivation to work after so much food!

We have made our Neil Armstrong fact files in literacy this week by using the information we had researched in previous lessons.  Pupils created the fact file by placing the information on a large piece of paper, they all look amazing and have lots of key facts about Neil Armstrong.

In numeracy some pupils have been practising measuring mass in grams using digital weighing scales, some pupils have been using balance scales to find which object from a choice of two is heavier or lighter.

It was the exciting end for the creative curriculum theme Space today.  We watched Wall-E and had popcorn, so it was amazing!
