Hi everybody

Welcome back to the Elm Tree Class Blog.  As ever, it’s been a busy week for everyone in Elm Tree Class!  We’ve had visitors in class and in school this week and it has been super exciting.  This week Nina the school crossing guard came to visit to talk about her job and how she helps the pupils at her school cross the road safely.  She went through the each movement and told us that she has to stop the cars in the road so the pupils can cross safely.  We all had a go with her stop stick and put on her hi-viz coat.

We also had a visit from the firefighters, they came to talk about how to stay safe and how the fire service helps us and keeps us safe.  The main attraction was the fire engine and fire hose, the siren was really loud too!
