Elm Tree - Science Fun for our Open Morning
Date: 19th May 2023 @ 9:45am
This week in Elm class we were very lucky to have some special visitors on Tuesday morning. It was upper school open morning so we welcomed some lovely family members to the class who all joined in with one of our science lessons working with the children.
In science we have been focussing on learning all about different types of animals including humans and the life cycles. The children have had lots of fun exploring textures using lots of different toy animals, the big spiders and kangaroos were a huge hit! The children enjoyed making different animals with moulds and play doh and we also had a hook a fish game which was lots of fun, thankfully not needing water so we all stayed dry! There was also a slime tray where the children had to hunt for different animals in the icky green slime!!
There was lots of smiley faces and lots of fun and laughter had by all!
