Elm Tree Class: An exciting week!

What an exciting week we have had!

On Tuesday, Paula came in to see us all and we had a P.E session celebrating Chinese New Year. We practiced our chop stick skills, dressed up and even did some dancing.

In our Literacy lesson we have began to write our own story's 'Our Big Plan,' following on from our story, 'Mabel and the Mountain.' Mabel is a fly who pursued her dream to climb a mountain. 

In Geography this week we've been focusing on all the different parts of a volcano and being able to label them.

In Art, we have started our paintings inspired by Jackson Pollock, who is famous for his abstract art, especially using the 'drip technique.' This was very messy but we had lots of fun!
