Oak Tree Class: Fantastic work!
Date: 14th Mar 2025 @ 3:31pm
Happy Friday everyone!
We have all worked super hard in Oak Tree this week.
In Numeracy we have continued with our topic of money, and we have started to apply this to real life situations such as buying things in a shop and how much change we should give someone. We have worked really hard on this, and have been using our techniques to count the money really well. We have also learned the Money Song and have love singing along.
In Literacy we have been continuing to read our class story of 'Jack and the Beanstalk' and our understanding has developed significantly. We are enjoying discussing what has happened, and our confidence with answering 'why questions' is amazing. Well done everyone!
Two of our pupils got to visit Fylde Town Hall with Sam and they had lots of fun! They came back to school excited to tell their friends about what they had done (and that they had enjoyed juice and biscuits).
Finally, we have been working hard this week in preparation for our auditions for the Upper School Production. The children can't wait to audition and it sounds like some of them have been working hard at home too!
We hope you have a restful weekend and we look forward to seeing you on Monday!
Love,
The Oak Tree team ♥
