Happy Easter from Bay Tree!!

We in Bay Tree have had Anna amazing term. We have had lots of fun and learnt some amazing new things in our topic of  'Around the World'. We explored the cold snowy mountains, the hot sandy dessert, under the Sea. Our story was 'The Tiny Seed' we read this though in literacy and talked about the changes and journey the seeds went on. In numeracy we looked at shapes. Our favourite part was drawing shapes in loose sand using our fingers on a sensory light box. First we would watch Craig, then it was our turn to do some mark making and draw some shapes. 

We also had MADD week this term. We explored all new things textures smells sounds. We learnt new dances we made garlands, we got to dress in different clothes.We got to take part in an drama class where we learnt how to be an animal how they behave and act. We made a canvas which we all contributed to the making of using water guns water and paint which gave rhe best water based effect. We designed and made our own musical instroments using recycled materials rice and dried beans. We all made crowns to wear to the end of MADD week festival where we had an amzing time showing our friends our new dance moves and seeing all of our friends from other classes when we all came together. 

This term has been amazing and we have had lots of fun and learnt a lot. We hope you all have an amazing Easter and look forward to seeing you after the holiday.
