Pine Tree Class: More or Less?

This week in Numeracy, we have been continuing our learning about Volume and Capacity. Some of us have been exploring sensory items such as water beads and have been filling up our cups to different volumes and then determining whether they are empty, nearly empty, half full, nearly full and full. Others have been using symbols and using different terms to describe what is happening in the symbols. 

Our topic of this week has been History where we have been learning about Vikings. We have all been given different Viking names and have loved going back in time to see what it was like then. To support our knowledge, we have been decorating Vikings and making our own shields - it has been lots of fun!
