Numeracy – Counting and Sorting

This week in Pine Tree, the children have engaged in activities involving numbers. We are developing our skills to be able to recognise numbers, count to 20 (or more), addition, subtraction, sequencing in order and using props and objects to support students within their activity groups. We have been enjoying number related songs to help engage and motivate the students towards their learning.

Some students have been out into the community, counting pennies when buying treats for their friends for snack!!  

The students have worked hard and have demonstrated an understanding of this topic within their numeracy lessons as it is reflected within their work.
