Oak Tree Class: Baking

Happy Friday everyone!

This week in Oak Tree Class we have been busy again!

On Tuesday, we had our auditions for Bugsy Malone and we all did an incredible job! We found out our roles on Wednesday and rehearsals started on Thursday! We are incredibly excited to continue with this over the next few weeks!

On Thursday we also did a bake sale! We linked our topics in Vocational and Numeracy to advertise that we were selling cakes and ensure we had the correct amount of money off each class. We had so much fun baking the cakes and, due to our sales, we got to have a little party today with some party food! The cakes went down really well with each class and we had rave reviews!

In Literacy, we tested our knowledge of our class story by making a story board. We all did an incredible job and could even write a short sentence of what is happening. In SPAG we have been looking at the different punctuation we can use in our writing, such as exclamation marks and question marks.
