In Numeracy this week we have been learning all about fractions! Today we had to find a half of the toppings on a pizza to make sure it was even. We have also carried on learning about quarters and learned about thirds too! We used whiteboards and Multilink to help us share to make an equal amount on both sides. We had lots of fun with fractions and really enjoyed it!

 

In literacy we have carried on our Peter Pan topic, and we discussed who our favourite characters are and why. Some of our favourite characters are Captain Hook (because he fights), the mermaids, Wendy, the crocodile, and Michael. 

 

In SPAG this week we have been trying to get the monster to be our friend! We have been using persuasive writing to try to get him to come back to Oak tree and gave lots of great reasons! 

 

Some of our favourite things at school this week were food, music, and getting the extraordinary award!
