We are in the midst of another busy week at Sixth Form. This half term, in Community Action, we have been busy getting some experience working in a Recycling Centre. This ties in nicely with the last half term where we began to learn how we sorted out items of rubbish into different groups such as Glass, Cardboard and Cans.  We have all thoroughly enjoyed experiencing the recycling centre and have gained vital skills in organising our rubbish to save the planet. 

 

In the afternoon of our Community Action session, we have been visiting a local community centre where we have been visiting local police officers and some local people. We have been serving them teas and coffee and engaging in conversation with them.
