Seedlings: Mark Making

This week in Seedlings our focus has been linked to our literacy writing targets. The children have been enjoying drawing and writing on paper, touch-screen and different textures such as sand and play dough.

Our theme for the term is 'Animal Boogie' so the children have been exploring the book 'The Tiger Who Came to Tea'. They've particularly enjoyed making their own Tiger pictures, where they have been sticking shredded black paper on orange card.

In our Attention Autism we have watched as Emily dropped 5 different animals down a pipe into water onto a tambourine to the song 'Down in the jungle'. The children enjoyed listening to the clash and watching the splash as each animal fell in.
