Seedlings: Modes of transport

This week our observation focus has been Understanding The World. This has consisted of us exploring where different modes of transport belong e.g. a boat in the water, a car on the road and a plane in the sky. Some of us have explored the sensory trays including water and shaving foam.

We have really enjoyed the Attention Autism session this week which has been focused on traffic lights. At the start of the week we listened to a song called twinkle, twinkle, traffic light before we popped red, yellow and green balloons. We then moved this on and explored the lemonade bottles with red, yellow and green food colouring. We really enjoyed this session and giggled with delight.

We have also listened to sounds of different modes of transport and watched videos. The children have enjoyed watching the videos and have started to make the signs of a car, boat and plane.
