Seedlings: Music week

This week in Seedlings we have been focusing on our maths target in which the children had to show an interest and take part in songs with repeated actions.

 The action songs they enjoyed were:
 •’Head, shoulders, knees and toes’
 •’If you’re happy and you know it’
 •’Wind the bobbin up’.

As a whole class we went to the hall for the schools ‘China day’. The children got to explore with different drums and enjoyed taking part in the lion and the dragon dances.

Our Attention Autism has seen a return of an old favourite, ‘Five little sandcastles’.
Alice builds five sandcastles & squirts them down one by one with water as we sing along to the song ‘Five little sandcastles’.

What a lovely week we had Seedlings.
