This week in Seedlings has been very number orientated. This has included our number work in the classroom which has included lots of sensory number songs. The children have enjoyed splatting five currant buns, shaking the 5 green bottles and exploring sausages that POP and BANG. Some of our children have displayed counting behaviours such as pointing to the objects as they are being counted, pointing to the numbers in their communication books or saying the number name. 

 

We have also been engaging with lots of number songs on helpkidzlearn, watching the 5 planes go loop the loop, the 5 wicked witches as they turn into frogs and the 5 superheroes as they save the town! Some of us also went to the hall to explore the Maths is Fun day in which we played with hook and duck and joined in with the dancing. Our teachers were extremely proud of how we coped in a busy environment with some new peers. 

 

All the staff are extremely proud of every single one of the children in Seedlings and we hope you enjoy reading their school reports in the coming weeks! We hope you all have a lovely Summer break.
