The Science of Separation in Pine Tree Class

In our Science lessons this half-term, we have been building on our materials knowledge from last half-term, focusing on separating materials. We have had the opportunity to explore lots of different separation methods in our lessons. We all enjoyed the chance to work together to decide what we should do to separate out the materials using magnets, sieves, heat, water to dissolve. Everyone worked hard to separate everything. We might have got a little bit messy!

This half-term our creative curriculum is ‘All around the World’, and we will be incorporating this theme throughout our lessons. Starting with inspiration day on Friday, where we will be visiting the different continents around the World.
